About CHD Korean Dumplings

Best Korean dumplings!

Located at 3931 Irvine Blvd, Irvine, CA 92602, CHD Korean Dumplings operates as a korean restaurant serving Irvine in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Irvine is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Irvine follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Tried the original tteok-bokki and crispy cutlet combo here and loved it! The spicy rice cakes were delicious, and the fresh toppings like the perilla leaves added so much flavor. The cutlet was super crunchy and paired perfectly with the sauce. Highly recommend giving this combo a try!

I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. I ordered the cold noodle that came with fried chicken. The quality was poor. The noodles were so tough that I couldn’t even chew, let alone swallow them. The chicken was hard, only crispy on the outside, and not enjoyable to eat. I couldn’t finish the meal. On top of that, the price was high for what I gotβ€”about $20 for this dish. Overall, very disappointing. I would not return

This is a hidden gem in Irvine! CHD Mandu sits inside a food court at the North Park Irvine HMart. Have you had Rose Tteokbokki? This is a MUST!! I am now a big fan!! Love these Korean rice cakes!!🫰🏻 πŸ₯˜Rose Tteokbokki - so creamy, cheesy, smoky, chewy and spicy. Has tiny sausages mixed in. - Flavortown πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ - Surprised me of how good this is!! πŸ₯Ÿ Pork Mandu (Korean Dumplings) - pan fried with a crispy seared crust - steamed - handmade - good filling-to-dough ratio - dip the mandu in the Tteok-bokki sauce. The pickled radish is refreshing and crisp. So good! Love the bright yellow color, which is from turmeric.

I highly recommend trying the dumplings at this place in California - they're the best in town! The food is absolutely delicious, but what really sets this place apart is the exceptional service from the owners. You can tell they put a lot of care into making each dumpling, crafting them one by one with attention to detail. I always make sure to come back here whenever I'm in the area. And while you're there, make sure to try the rosΓ© tteokbokki - it's a must-try dish!

Mandu (Korean dumplings) lovers rejoice! CHD sits inside a food court at this new North Park HMart, but this greatly exceeded my typical mediocre food court experience. These mandu are delicious . Each mandu is freshly made with a crispy seared crust and a good filling-to-dough ratio (not overfilled or too much skin). The sampler platter is the best value for first-timers or someone who likes their variety. The jalapeno and shrimp mandus packed the best flavors and texture. As a small aside, they do provide very little dipping sauce so recommend asking for at least a couple of sauce containers. Next time you're craving a quick meal, CHD's plump, juicy, and craveable Korean dumplings should do the trick. They even have large sets of frozen dumplings you can take home with you. Definitely something I look forward to having again soon.
